All about Us...
We are located in central Wyoming and have a small home on a fenced acre. We started in Golden Retrievers in 1991 when I convinced my husband I needed a purebred dog to  compete in AKC obedience.  At the time we had two mixed breeds named Budd and Bruiser (see their story).  Bruiser was registered with the Mixed Breed Dog Club of America and I was able to compete with him at fun matches.  Although I enjoyed competing with him I really wanted to compete at AKC events along with my fellow trainers.  I was put  in touch with an older gentleman who had a Golden Retriever he could no longer keep.  So started our life with this wonderful breed! My energies are focused on rescuing rather than breeding.  In fact we have only one intact male and our females are spayed.  My first love continues to be obedience, but I have come to enjoy the conformation and agility rings.

My son has caught the dog 'bug' and is competing with his own dog.  Not a Golden Retriever, but a Keeshond.  Many thanks go to the great dog people in my community and breeds who have mentored my son and me .  Without them we would be lost.
